The Mt Lindsey highway west beyond Woodenbong used to be rubbish. Terrible pot holes and patch work quilt repairs with the road buckled or sunken in places. And then you hit the gravel section which was never graded and all wash board corrugations.
In 2016 I rode it west after Queen Mary falls and found mostly new tar with just 3 small bits of well graded gravel. It makes for a interesting way to get to Stanthorpe and with everyone now riding ADV bikes no excuse not to see this.

You can locate this road on the map, expand to see list.
These good road posts were part of a previous ‘home page’ I made in the 90’s and the previous version of this blog. I decided to transfer them over just for my own nostalgia. The collection is just my own personal riding records, not a definitive list.
