This is a superb ride if you can get a car free run up. My tip is if staying nearby then try it first thing when your set off in the morning as that worked for me but by 10.00am it became more busy with 4 wheel drives.
It’s one way and the very top section is terrible surveying, probably laid down unprofessionally by people logging or mining and carried over still to the modern road we have now but the actual climb is very good.
