This section of the blog is legacy content kept for nostalgic reasons.
The blog was originally a ‘home page’ back when that was a thing in the 90’s and consisted of some low res scans of print photos on the nice riding roads around South East QLD and Northern NSW.
There were no online maps then so I added scans from a BP Australian Road Atlas marking the nice riding roads with a highlighter pen because there really was little to no information online. The WWW was in it’s infancy and books like Top 200 Ride atlas from Hema were a decade away.
June 2006 the home page was rebooted on Google Blogger and suddenly I had storage space so started to add more good motorcycle roads and started using a digital camera. Alas most of my older film photos were lost.
I had originally intended to expand this section but then YouTube came along and dozens of channels about where to ride in Australia sprung up so I forgot about it as well shifted to riding mostly overseas.
However since I am retired now with nothing much to do I have resurrected some of the posts from my old Google Blogger site and added a few more pages. It still needs to be expanded and linked to my best roads map but motivation is low given how many people have done stuff on YouTube.
